Blogging Christmas gift guide

I love blogging, it's been five years of for the most an exciting and interesting time, learning new skills and becoming part of an online community. Now it is a way of life for me, everywhere I go I have a camera, my notebook and I'm always looking out for blog post ideas. I hardly ever switch off from it which is great in one way as I obviously really enjoy it. But what to get a blogger for Christmas - I have a whole list of things I want and need from cheap to far too expensive at the moment. Here are some of my ideas for a Christmas present for that special blogger in your life (or for yourself!)

A bloggers bag
The right bag needs to be big enough for my iPad Mini, my phone, camera, notebook....I can't remember the last time that I used a simple clutch bag, these days it needs to accommodate a ton of stuff for my bloggy day trips. Every blogger will appreciate a pretty bag for the new season.

Power Bank
The best thing I've bought this year especially for the Blogtacular conference is a power bank but now used every time I leave the house as my iPhone battery drains so quickly when using it to take photos and for accessing my social media, especially Instagram.
Mine holds around eight charges which is so handy for when I'm out all day and I don't need to worry about my phone being completely without battery. There are many on the market but mine is from Amazon. A super practical gift that will really be appreciated.
Blog and Web Design
How about the gift of a redesign as not all of us know how to spruce up our sites and make them look professional or indeed have the time. Have a chat with other people online and whether you require affordable web design in Essex or some SEO help, there will be a package to suit your requirements. Next year I will hopefully be moving over to Wordpress, eeek! so I may be needing some design help.

Magazine Subscriptions
I like to keep in touch with blogging news and also have a few magazines to read up on current seasonal trends and generate new ideas for blog posts. Currently I have an online subscription through Readly which is fabulous as for a reasonable monthly fee I have access to hundreds of magazines from home interiors to history and fashion. Uploaded to my iPad it's a perfect for when I'm off to London and can have a read on the train. You can buy vouchers for subscriptions of favourite mags or online versions like this, a well received present.

Camera and Lenses
Next year will be the year I purchase a new camera, preferably some kind of Canon DSLR, I doubt I'll be lucky enough to receive one for Christmas but maybe I could save any Christmas money towards one. Bloggers will love you forever for a 50mm lens for that perfect depth of field on food photography :) Tripods are really useful gift too and one that is on my list as mine has broken.

Bloggers Journal
A bloggers notebook/journal/planner is crucial for jotting down notes and keeping track of posts, working out scheduling and remembering important dates. I'd be lost without mine for remembering when I need to post work for clients and remembering which blog linkies are on which day or Twitter parties. A lovely notebook diary would make a perfect stocking filler as us bloggers love all types of pretty stationery.
The Bloggers Planner
What is on your Christmas list as a blogger? Do let me know so I can add it to my own list :)
