I have two blueberries in flower, I lost one over the winter which was annoying as it was a gift from my father. I moved them to the allotment from my decking area at home as Little Bird pulled off all the flowers last year, so inviting are the little pinky bells and hence we had no fruit. This year I am more hopeful as he doesn't come with me to the allotment that much (although I'd like this to change) so the blueberries might have a chance.

How lovely to have an allotment, it's such a long waiting list around us that I just have to get my veggie fill when I visit my parents home!!
I love your door wreath! So pretty. I loved april too but so happy it is may! May day celebrations and warmer weather (hopefully!!!) x
oooo so lovely to see everything coming on - I know what you mean about how fast things progress, there seems to have been a huge change in the gardens over the past fortnight - it''ll all have changed again come the end of May! I drive past allotments every day when I take the kids to school and think of yours :)
Thank you for joining in again x

I can't believe it is May already! Easter was so late this year that this Bank Holiday is going to completely sneak up on me! Your beautiful and colourful plants and wreath have inspired me - I must get to the garden centre this weekend and start hanging baskets and finish planting seeds :-)

I can't believe it's here already, but bring it on May! Spring has been beautiful so far, let's hope it continues (after this soggy week anyway!) Love that Easter Wreath, enjoy them for another weekend, why not!
What stunning photos of your allotment!
Those vivid orange tulips look so vibrant with the water butt as a backdrop!
The sad story of your blueberries being all removed when in flower remind me of a time when, as a very little girl, I did the same to my mother's tomatoes… Oh dear - that minor disaster is still engrained in my mind!
Emma :-)
