Sunday Snap: Love will tear us apart

Ian Curtis Joy Division Memorial A little sombre this week.

A brilliant musician.

An icon.

Tragically committed suicide at the young age of 23 back in 1980.

Ian Curtis of Joy Division.

His grave at Macclesfield Cemetery.

Every time I walk by I am amazed at how much love is shown.

Beauty in sadness.

Forever 23.

What a fab occasion to be able to say you've been and seen, it must've been a great thing to watch as the liners did a synchronized manoeuvre. It's a shame that there was so many people there so you couldn't get a clearer view but I'm sure you all had a great day all the same. It looks like there's plenty to see and do around Liverpool this summer. Thanks for linking up with Country Kids.

I'm going to get some paint out and paint my plant pots in bright colours to help brighten my garden up a bit.

Thanks for the inspiration - especially the idea of spray painting chairs. We have some that are looking tired, but if I give them a blast I bet they'll look great. And I'll keep some in reserve for the plastic pots too!

This is such an inspirational post. My garden is SUCH a mess - but I seen even a table cloth for my picnic bench could make all the difference. Thank you.

Wow, what a thing to see. I too only saw it on the TV. My Dad was a marine engineer and my grandad too, so ships are in my blood
