How exciting to receive a box of wonderful Easter materials ready for some springtime crafting, Probably my favourite time of year for being creative with visions of eggs, chicks and bunnies in our heads and inspiration from flowers appearing every day in the garden.
Here is our Bostik Bloggers box for this month, pinks, yellows and greens, so fresh looking and plenty for us to do.
We thought we would decorate the bag, a little trinket box and make a card for Daddy. Little Bird has been poorly so some sticking was a quiet craft we could leisurely do.
We used:
Bostik Tape Discs
Bostik Glue Pen
Plain white paper bag
Brown card box
Plain card
Flower embellishments
Washi tape
Easter tape
Ribbon pieces
Googly eyes
Shredded coloured tissue paper
Wooden ears
Sequins
Pom-poms
To start with we attached ribbon pieces to the paper bag with the Bostik Tape Discs - these are great and such an easy way of sticking and can be used when wrapping presents.
Them we stuck lots of foam flower and leaf embellishments on to make a pretty garden picture, It was great fun sticking the flowers on and we made a super bag for Easter Sunday when we will go on an Easter egg hunt around our garden. Hopefully the Easter Bunny will have been!
For Nana we decorates a small card box that she can store tiny treasure in by wrapping tape around the base and using a flower sticker to decorate the lid.
Then to make Daddy an Easter card and using the pom-poms we created an Easter caterpillar sat in the nest! Well, why not :) That's what LB thought we should do. We stuck the pom poms and the shredded tissue paper to the card using the Bostik Glue Pen and added sequin and flower embellishments. The caterpillar actually had bunny ears glued on a a set of googly eyes. Finally a Happy Easter banner was stuck at the top and we were all done.
We are going to carry on crafting with our box as we have some polystyrene eggs that we are going to paint pink and glittery so I will be sure to show you them too.
The craft box was provided to me by Bostik as part of the Tots100/Bostik Craft Bloggers Club
So far we made a Chinese Dragon and some Valentine decorations.
